Dr. Colleen Inglis is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia and a licensed pharmacist committed to high-quality, patient-centred care for women and older adults. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Pharmacy from UBC, and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Washington.​

Her clinical experience spans hospital and community pharmacy, internal medicine, chronic disease management, geriatrics, women’s health, and medication optimization. This broad background enables her to support patients through complex health transitions with knowledge and empathy.

Based in the Comox Valley, Dr. Inglis splits her time between clinical practice, home-visit care, and teaching in UBC’s entry-to-practice PharmD program. She brings the same dedication to her academic role as she does in patient care, working to prepare the next generation of pharmacists with a strong foundation in patient-centred care and clinical excellence.

Dr. Jane Xia is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a licensed pharmacist with a broad range of experience in hospital, regulatory, industry, and academic settings—but her deepest connection has always been to community practice. With many years spent caring for patients in the community, she is known for her thoughtful, down-to-earth approach and her ability to make patients feel heard and supported.

Jane understands how complex and overwhelming the healthcare system can be, and she is deeply committed to helping individuals navigate their health journey with clarity and confidence.

She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner through The Menopause Society and has a strong clinical interest in women’s health, especially midlife and menopause care. Her work focuses on empowering patients with clear, evidence-informed guidance, and ensuring that no one feels rushed or overlooked in their care journey.

At the heart of her practice is a commitment to compassionate, personalized care—meeting patients where they are and supporting their decisions with trust, transparency, and warmth.
